Best last minute presents a man can buy

When your back is against the wall (i.e. you’ve forgotten an important occasion), then thank goodness there is such a thing as a same day delivery service.

How many times have you been caught out? On a birthday, an anniversary? Or even, one of those obtuse occasions when we feel it is necessary to celebrate our parent’s own specially-named day?

These are the times when most people wake up and scream, “oh my God, it’s Dad’s birthday” – thinking that all is lost bar a card and some mints from the local pound shop.

It’s on these occasions that a same day delivery service comes into its own.

Most dads, you would assume, are connoisseurs of technology. That’s why a present such as an iPad will absolutely go down a treat. Just imagine the look on his face as a rectangular box, laced in Apple-branded white, is unwrapped – heavenly.

But what if Dad is not a tech aficionado? Then perhaps the promise of a purpose-built holiday may tease your interest. Sending just a hint of what could be the biggest surprise he’s ever had could send his heart beating. What about a crash helmet to signify a motorbiking experience? Or some poker cards to represent a last-minute trip to Vegas for example?

Female family members shouldn’t be forgotten too though. Buying for people you love, and know inside out, is really hard – especially your mother.

She’s probably received all the beauty products that a woman can desire on her (various) special days. But this doesn’t mean the gesture of sending the latest perfume, or her favourite novel, carries any less weight.

Truthfully, women – be it mother or girlfriend – love to be surprised. Same day delivery services offer you that sense of romance and spontaneity that a loved one desires.

Whether this be flowers, or chocolate, there is no better way to say “I love you” than delivering something unexpectedly.
